I was surfing through the net looking for some ideas of what other Consultants were looking for in “Hostess Coaching” home party businesses and realized that there were many Great tips out there! However none of them mentioned one tip that I used all the time and that was:
“Coffee anyone?”
When you give your new hostess her Hostess Package, why not meet her for a coffee date? The most ‘Successful Shows’ I had were the ones that I spent the most time actually getting to Know my hostess! Plus, if you have a quick coffee at her house you will have a better idea of “where” you are setting up & her stylehome party businesses.
At your ‘coffee’ ASK her WHY she booked a show? Free product, a particular piece or a girl’s nite out? We call this finding her “hot button” & is the key motivator for her having a show. You can then address that to get the most Free Product, that piece she wants & a fun nite out it = XXX amount in show Sales, a great guest list and a short demo! Working together as partner’s will help her achieve her Why & by doing that home party businesses you are fulfilling her needs, not your own!
Once you are done your ‘coffee’ mtg….make sure you send her a “Thanks for Booking with Me!” card in the mail. Again, it’s just a small gesture, but letting her know that YOU are thankful & that you will work together to get her “Why” will benefit you both in the end….this is also a great way to have Less cancellations/rescheduling with your hostess as she has established a bond with you!
